The Tennessee Titans have done plenty of unexpected things in 2008, namely starting with a 10-0 record.
But one of the more amazing developments has been the Titans' ability to survive the loss of Pro Bowl defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch to a groin injury for what amounts to the past five games, without a dramatic drop in production. Unheralded backups Dave Ball and Jacob Ford have seen to that.
But now the Titans could be getting a bonus just in time for the stretch run of the regular season and the playoffs.
Vanden Bosch practiced for the first time in two weeks and appears, barring any setbacks, on track to return to the lineup in time for Sunday's game with the AFC East-leading New York Jets.
"I anticipate going," Vanden Bosch said.
