Seattle's new free safety Earl Thomas finally looked comfortable at the end of offseason workouts, displaying the playmaking ability in the back end of the defense that the team coveted when the selected the University of Texas product 14th overall in this year's draft.
"I'm not thinking too much," said the 21-year-old. "I'm getting the playbook down pretty good. And I'm just able to run out there and play now.
"I feel a whole lot more comfortable. I'm not just running out there like a deer in the headlights. I'm more just settled down and playing ball now."
Thomas flashed his playmaking ability on the last day of offseason workouts, making a diving interception on a Matt Hasselbeck offering in the end zone and twice slashing through the defense for sacks.
