Last week's 13-13 tie with Cincinnati pretty much has left the Eagles with no margin for error in their remaining six games if they hope to make the playoffs.
At 5-4-1, they almost certainly need no worse than a 5-1 finish to qualify for the postseason. And with division games against the New York Giants, Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys still left, that will be no easy task.
What they need most right now, if they are to have any chance at saving this season, is better play from their quarterback, Donovan McNabb. The five-time Pro Bowler hasn't played well in more than a month.
He completed just 28 of 58 passes and had three interceptions and a lost fumble against the Bengals.
