Dolphins second-year receiver Brian Hartline made a huge impact in his rookie season, but his recent impact wasn't as impressive when Florida Highway Patrol found his smashed-up pickup truck abandoned on a local highway.
Hartline, who is expected to battle sure-handed receiver Greg Camarillo for a starting job opposite offseason acquisition Brandon Marshall, has yet to respond to police inquiries.
Hartline is the fifth Dolphins player to wind up on a police report in the last year. Running back Ronnie Brown and cornerback Will Allen were arrested and charged with driving under the influence, while defensive linemen Phillip Merling and Tony McDaniel were arrested following domestic disputes.
